The Surface Water layer is derived from the Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI) and shows which parts of a property have standing water present. Values range from -0.1 to 0.4, where low values show dry land and higher values in blue show areas with water, such as rivers or ponds. This layer is derived from Airbus Pléiades, which captures high-resolution multispectral satellite imagery worldwide at 2m resolution. Imagery available can be ordered on a per-property basis in Lens and costs scale by acres. Availability and timing of capture varies based on your geography and other factors. The Airbus Pléiades Extended Archive does not receive the same level of verification and correction.
