The Surface Water layer is derived from the Normalized Difference Water Index (NDWI) and shows which parts of a property have standing water present. Values range from -0.1 to 0.4, where low values show dry land and higher values in blue show areas with water, such as rivers or ponds. This layer is derived from Airbus Pléiades, which captures high-resolution multispectral satellite imagery worldwide at 2m resolution. Imagery available can be ordered on a per-property basis in Lens and costs scale by acres. Availability and timing of capture varies based on your geography and other factors.
