Resolution: 20m
Please note that this is an experimental layer. The Red-Red Edge Ratio (RRER) is a vegetation index used in remote sensing to assess plant health and chlorophyll content. It is calculated as the ratio of reflectance in Sentinel-2's red-edge band (B5) to the red band (B4). Higher values generally indicate greater chlorophyll concentration or healthy vegetation, while lower values can signal stress or sparse cover. Although designed for vegetation monitoring, this index can also be sensitive to certain algal pigments such as phycocyanin in water bodies.
